About Me

My photo
I'm just an average twenty something who believes in the finer things in life, but also enjoys the little things. I am currently residing in and around the Washington DC area. I love it. I was born in Seoul, South Korea and I really miss it. While in the states, I am an East Coast Girl all the way. Don't get me wrong, I love visiting the West Coast... just, having NYC, Washington DC, and Philadelphia so close together is amazing
Moving to New York I met guys, and that kind of put things in perspective for me. Because you know that thing when you see someone cute and he smiles and your heart kind of goes like warm butter sliding down hot toast? Well, thats what it's like when I see a store. Only it's better. You see, a man will never love you or treat you as well as a store. If a man doesn't fit, you cant exchange him 7 days later for a gorgeous cashmere sweater. A store always smells good. A store can awaken a lust for things you never even knew you needed. And when your fingers grasp those shiny new bags. Oh yes...Oh yessss

Trials and Tribulations of Dating When You're Transexual

I figured since I have nothing better to do and dating has been horrendous lately, that I would write my dates/experiences down for you to enjoy....

Part 1

So, one night, about 3 months ago, I was on a date with this guy who happened to be quite older than myself. Trust me, I was only in it for the free dinner. bahahaha....anyway, after dinner, we went to a fairly popular lounge/bar nearby. The guy I was with had to use the restroom, so I stood waiting, while I was waiting, this guy walks up to me and asks about me...I had to quickly inform him that I was currently on a date with another guy, but if he wanted, he could take my number. long story short, i told the guy i was on a date with at the time that i was transexual.....last date with him- not that i really cared.....

i think it was the next day, the guy who took my number(lets call him Dan) texts me that he wants to get together....I'm like, okay... what do I have to lose, right? so we decide to go for drinks for our first date. When we get together(I'm not intoxicated now), I see that Dan is friggin gorgeous. Like flawlessly gorgeous- out of my league gorgeous. We end up going to The Franklin... We talk about where we grew up, things we like to do, etc... it actually turns out that Dan grew up in the DC area as well. So, we are vibing, and feeling each other.... I mean, of course he's feeling me. lol.... but we both have to call it an early night. we say our goodbyes, and he gets me a taxi.

Next few days we are texting each other, etc.... and we decide to go to dinner and a movie. We went for mexican, and then to see the Hangover 2. It was pretty funny- Dan thought parts were hilarious, it was obvious because he would start cracking up. In the Hangover 2 there is a scene with a thai ladyboy which was a little uncomfortable, considering my status.....

Part 2 coming soon
