About Me

My photo
I'm just an average twenty something who believes in the finer things in life, but also enjoys the little things. I am currently residing in and around the Washington DC area. I love it. I was born in Seoul, South Korea and I really miss it. While in the states, I am an East Coast Girl all the way. Don't get me wrong, I love visiting the West Coast... just, having NYC, Washington DC, and Philadelphia so close together is amazing
Moving to New York I met guys, and that kind of put things in perspective for me. Because you know that thing when you see someone cute and he smiles and your heart kind of goes like warm butter sliding down hot toast? Well, thats what it's like when I see a store. Only it's better. You see, a man will never love you or treat you as well as a store. If a man doesn't fit, you cant exchange him 7 days later for a gorgeous cashmere sweater. A store always smells good. A store can awaken a lust for things you never even knew you needed. And when your fingers grasp those shiny new bags. Oh yes...Oh yessss

Falsies & Vickies

There's a company in Springfield, Illinois that makes falsies(fake boobies) and I just ordered a pair cause I'm retarded and decided to spend $75 on silicon things instead of MAC.... thats like 6 eye shadows.... anyways.... The company makes different types, enhancers, push-ups, full breast forms-which i got, etc... They're great for people who have had mastectomy's, or people who haven't been blessed with their desired cup size, or for CD/TV/TG(crossdressers/ transvestites/ transgendered) they are available at www.trukare.com and they are highly recommended. here are some pictures:

I mean, I can't have fake boobs without a bra, right? I dont even know how to shop for a bra so i ordered one online from Victoria's Secret(btw... Vickies is having a sale, so go get yourself a few things) anyways...I got the bra to fit a 38B, but i dont even know if that will work. lol.... if not, i'll have to exchange it. oh well, whatever

My Top 5 US Cities

My number 1 would have to be NYC. I love it, its such a fun city. High lights: Madison Avenue, The Village, Chelsea- you've gotta try a Chelsea Rainbow at Room Service. its amazing if you love fruity drinks
2. San Francisco- I love this city. It's a lot of fun.... and I don't get carded, which is nice. you have to visit the Goyard store in Union Square.
3. Washington DC- Dupont Circle, Chevy Chase, Smithsonian....What more could a gay kid want? lol.... for those of you who don't know, Dupont is DC's gayborhood.... the Collection at Chevy Chase is known as the Rodeo Drive of the East Coast..... and the Smithsonian- what can I say? I love museums.... Get to the collection at Chevy Chase ASAP.... i read that many of the tenants may not be renewing their leases due to the current economic situation.
4. LA- I like LA, but its just not my scene...like my 'About Me' says...I'm an East Coast girl. It's nice....just a little overrated.
5. Philadelphia- I like Philly because I'm familiar with it. lol.... I can navigate by myself, without GPS..... the major downsides?? Horrendous shopping, everyone dresses like they're stuck in 2005. Really. Its like all of the bad trends from 2000-now and they wear them all at once. awful. BUT they do have some really good restaurants. Any of the Stephen Starr restaurants are magnifique. POD, Alma Di Cuba, Continental, Barclay Prime, etc. If you come to Philly, you have to visit South St. its just a necessity.

MAC Haul..... next week

I am so excited for my new MAC haul to get here. It should be here next week, if it isn't.... I will die. maybe;).... I am a little upset, only because 2 of my brushes are on back order and could take up to 2 weeks to get here. After looking through my email confirmation, I realized that all I bought were brushes and lip products.... I totally forgot to get new blushes. dammit. And I also ordered a lipstick from a LE(limited edition) MAC line... any guesses? I'm keeping this one a secret because I'm REALLY excited for it. I also got a "new" little Louis Vuitton. I say "new" because I got it about a month ago, but never posted about it(on TPF, that is) but here's a picture:

I love it cause it's pink.

Cosmetics Must Haves

So, I've recently gotten really obsessed with cosmetics. Before I would mainly wear eyeliner and mascara, and that was it. That has now changed. I now have quite a few must have cosmetics.

(of course these shades are for me, you'll have to find which ones work for you)
1. MAC Studio Fix Fluid in NC40- this is amazing.

2. MAC Studio Fix Powder in NC40- this plus the liquid will hide any blemishes. its friggin crazy

3. MAC Studio Finish SPF35 Concealer in NC35- I love this. It is my first time trying the cream concealer. I was using the Select Moisturecover, but my SA told me that it would be discontinued soon. Anyways, this works great.

4. Covergirl Lashblast Waterproof Mascara. Although this is a non MAC product, it is the best I have ever tried. In the past I've used Chanel, Trish McEvoy, Too Faced, etc....

5. Nars Black Moon Eyeliner. Some eyeliners I have used are too creamy and they don't go on as dark as I like. With Nars I can get my waterlines pitch black and it lasts quite a while

6. MAC Fun & Games Beauty Powder from the Hello Kitty Collection. This is a limited addition, but you may still be able to find it at MAC stores. I really like this blush because it isn't too pigmented and I can pack it on without worrying about looking scary. I'm asian, so I wouldn't recommend packing it on if you are on the fairer side
Okay, so these are my must have cosmetics, I hope it helped, and trust me... you cant go wrong with these 6 items. Remember that these shades are suited for my skin tone and it may not work for you.
