About Me

My photo
I'm just an average twenty something who believes in the finer things in life, but also enjoys the little things. I am currently residing in and around the Washington DC area. I love it. I was born in Seoul, South Korea and I really miss it. While in the states, I am an East Coast Girl all the way. Don't get me wrong, I love visiting the West Coast... just, having NYC, Washington DC, and Philadelphia so close together is amazing
Moving to New York I met guys, and that kind of put things in perspective for me. Because you know that thing when you see someone cute and he smiles and your heart kind of goes like warm butter sliding down hot toast? Well, thats what it's like when I see a store. Only it's better. You see, a man will never love you or treat you as well as a store. If a man doesn't fit, you cant exchange him 7 days later for a gorgeous cashmere sweater. A store always smells good. A store can awaken a lust for things you never even knew you needed. And when your fingers grasp those shiny new bags. Oh yes...Oh yessss

My Top 5 US Cities

My number 1 would have to be NYC. I love it, its such a fun city. High lights: Madison Avenue, The Village, Chelsea- you've gotta try a Chelsea Rainbow at Room Service. its amazing if you love fruity drinks
2. San Francisco- I love this city. It's a lot of fun.... and I don't get carded, which is nice. you have to visit the Goyard store in Union Square.
3. Washington DC- Dupont Circle, Chevy Chase, Smithsonian....What more could a gay kid want? lol.... for those of you who don't know, Dupont is DC's gayborhood.... the Collection at Chevy Chase is known as the Rodeo Drive of the East Coast..... and the Smithsonian- what can I say? I love museums.... Get to the collection at Chevy Chase ASAP.... i read that many of the tenants may not be renewing their leases due to the current economic situation.
4. LA- I like LA, but its just not my scene...like my 'About Me' says...I'm an East Coast girl. It's nice....just a little overrated.
5. Philadelphia- I like Philly because I'm familiar with it. lol.... I can navigate by myself, without GPS..... the major downsides?? Horrendous shopping, everyone dresses like they're stuck in 2005. Really. Its like all of the bad trends from 2000-now and they wear them all at once. awful. BUT they do have some really good restaurants. Any of the Stephen Starr restaurants are magnifique. POD, Alma Di Cuba, Continental, Barclay Prime, etc. If you come to Philly, you have to visit South St. its just a necessity.
